Interior designer and principal of Merrill & Associates, Kathy Merrill Kelley’s aesthetic has long been informed by the lush tropics and arresting seascapes of Hawaii, where she grew up, attending Punahou School before going on to study art and design at University of Colorado at Boulder.

Kelley‘s interest in color and texture is another major influence in her art. Having worked in many media over the years, she has found her niche in printmaking. Her abstraction of familiar forms results in a body of work that is contemplative, organic and enigmatic.
